Everyone welcome. Whether your are new to Tai Chi or have previous experience come and enjoy these tasters. 

Tai Chi is gentle, fun and suitable for all ages and abilities- enabling everyone to work at their own pace. Tai Chi is increasingly being recommended by doctors as an effective way of maintaining good health. It enhances flexibility, balance and co-ordination. One of the most important long-term effects of Tai Chi is that reestablishes the body-mind-soul connection.

Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes or no shoes.

An introduction to Shiatsu

with Shiatsu practitioner Diego Robirosa

Come to a talk and demonstration of this Japanese body therapy. Diego has worked in hospitals treating people with Cancer and in wards with acute Mental Health issues and has witnessed the important role that Shiatsu plays on these two areas which he is keen to share.

Learn about Shiatsu’s long history and tradition of Oriental Medicine and its uniquely versatile ability to be adapted to a wide variety of contemporary healthcare, community and corporate settings.

Shiatsu stimulates the body’s natural healing ability, it is a deeply relaxing experience. You don’t have to be ill to have a Shiatsu treatment. Regular sessions help to prevent the build up of stress in our daily lives.

Starting May 2017 Qigong sessions for people recovering from Stroke

Success After Stroke is an active and motivated self help support group where the members are helped by dedicated volunteers and therapists in their efforts for rehabilitation, independence and confidence.

Starting on Friday the 12 May from 11.00 to 12.00 at The Stevenson Centre in Great Cornard, Sudbury.

The Success After Stroke Club is a Stroke Association affiliated charity group who helps its stroke recovering members benefit from the social and communication support provided. The Success After Stroke Club welcomes new members and offers a range of therapies and activities throughout the week including IT, games, exercise, art and pottery.
