Tai Chi and Qigong are an ideal form of exercise to offer as part of an inset day. They serve to relax, re-energise and enhance health and well being. They are holistic activities, working in the body, mind and spirit to generate a strong sense of oneness. It is fun, non competitive and suitable for all ages and abilities.
Participants should wear loose, comfortable clothing with no requirement for additional equipment – just a keen attitude!
The Inset workshop covers the following:
- posture alignment
- stretching exercises
- moving and still Chi Kung
- introduction to the short Tai Chi Yang Form
- breathing exercises and meditation
- advice on how to incorporate daily practice in our everyday lives.
